ISEC goal is to promote the discussion about the convergence between Computer Science and Information Systems topics, so that researchers can present a complete and detailed specification of their educational curricula by means of these two topics. We inspect papers that contribute to the better understanding of emerging and important educational fields of Computer Science (CS) and Information System (IS). Authors are invited to submit their papers in English, presenting the results of original research or innovative practical applications in the field.
Regarding the selection process, we plan to perform a triple review process.
Go to the FEDERATED CONFERENCE ON COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS (fedCSIS).
Key issues in this workshop will focus on (but are not limited to):
Authors should submit full papers (as Postscript, PDF, MSWord, or ODF file). The total length of a paper must not exceed 8 pages IEEE style (including tables, figures and references). IEEE style templates are available here.
Acceptance notifications will be sent out on June 17, 2013. The workshop will be held on September 9, 2013 in Kraków, Poland. Please note that at least one author of an accepted position paper must register for the workshop and for one or more days of the fedCSIS 2013 conference. Papers should be formatted according to fedCSIS 2013 Archive Format (http://fedcsis.org/authors).
All accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and included in the IEEE Xplore® database & ACM SIGAPP. They will be also submitted for indexation in: DBLP Computer Science Bibliography, Google Scholar, Inspec, Scirus, SciVerse Scopus and Thomson Reuters - Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI).
Extended versions of accepted papers will appear in as a Springer book chapter.
High quality papers will be invited to submit an extended version for inclusion in a special issue of an (ISI) International Journal, according to the paper topic:
Other papers from the workshop will be invited to submit an extended version to be considered for publication in the International Journal of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (ijCSCL). Impact factor: 2.243 - Q1.
